  • Are we accepting new reservations?

Yes, we understand that we have a loyal client base looking to book for the autumn season and we are able to take new reservations.

Please be assured that if your travel dates change you are able to postpone your hire period with us without charge.

Or we are able to transfer your funds to a credit against clothing and accessories with our sister websites.

If your travel dates have been cancelled due to COVID-19 and you postpone your hire period with us, we will enter you into a special prize draw to win a Pinarello bike.

  • COVID-19 Cancellations or Amendments

We understand that some of our customers may need to amend their hire dates due to postponed trips.
For this reason we have relaxed our cancellation policy to enable you to amend your dates without charge, moving your full hire fee to your new dates.
If you are unsure of your new dates we are able to keep this open for you, keep in touch and we will re-book your dates when you are ready.

Due to the exceptional circumstances we can also offer our customers the alternative to transfer your hire fee in full to a voucher to use on our sister websites.
As a good will gesture this voucher will entitle you to an extra 10% VIP discount.

  • What are the prices to hire a bike?

    Please check our pricing page which includes the daily and weekly rates. The prices include VAT/IVA.

  • I know Pinarello frame sizes are different than other bike brands.  How do I know what size bike to book?

    Please see our sizing guide on the individual bike pages.

  • What gear ratios are fitted on the bikes and what type of components are on the bikes?

    Our bikes come with a 50 /34 compact chain set. The cassettes are 11 - 30 on most bikes. All the bikes are equipped with Shimano. We can even offer 32 cassettes on request.

  • What is the brake style on your bikes?

    All our bikes are UK brake set-up. They have the front brake lever on the right hand side and the rear brake lever on the left. We also offer a small fleet of Gan S bikes with continental style brakes.

  • Do you provide pedals with the bike hire?

    You can bring your own pedals or we can supply them at no extra charge. We offer the following:

    Shimano - SPD - SL
    Speedplay
    Flat

  • Do you provide a saddle bag and pump with the bike hire?

    We provide a saddle bag, which includes an inner tube, tyre levers and a pump.  The bike will have two bottle cages fitted and we sell water bottles priced at €6.00.

  • Who is responsible for the bikes if they are damaged or stolen?

    The customer is responsible for the bike that they hire.  Please let us know as soon as possible if there has been an accident. If the bike is stolen, the customer is responsible for the wholesale price of the bike.

  • Is there a group to join for a ride?

    There is a group ride that departs 09.00 every morning from Tolo’s Bar and Restaurant. Tolo’s Bar and Restaurant is located minutes from the Pinarello Experience shop. Please note the meeting times varies depending on the time of year.

  • Does your bike shop have clothing and bike accessories to purchase?

    For a vast range of clothing and accessories, please visit the Mallorca Bike Lounge store (previously The Bike Rooms) on Calle Gola 20, Puerto Pollensa, 07470 only 200m from the hire store.

  • Is it a law to wear a helmet in Mallorca?

    It is a law to wear a helmet whilst cycling in Mallorca. We do have Assos and Rudy Project helmets for sale and for hire. Its is the customers  responsibility to wear a helmet and observe the Spanish traffic laws at all times.

  • What should I bring with me?

    Please bring your shoes, helmet and Garmin/Wahoo mount if you use one. We can provide the pedals at no charge.

  • What time can I collect and return the bike?

    We open at 09.00-13.00  then 15.00-19.00.(Open all day in April) Please return the bike by 18.00 on your last day.

  • Do you have a delivery service?  

We have now introduced a delivery service (subject to availability) in the local area, please contact us for details.

However for groups, we prefer to collect you and bring you into store. This way we can offer you the very best service. Our mechanics are on site ensuring all your requirements are met to the highest standard.

  • I love the Pinarello bike I hired!  I would like to purchase the bike when I return from holiday.  Who should I contact?

  • What does the insurance charge cover?

    Due to the high value of our Pinarello fleet insurance is compulsory. Insurance on your booking is payable on collection, in Mallorca, at the Pinarello Experience Hire Centre. This charge covers you for any accidental damage to the bike and a recovery service. This is a one time charge per bike for the duration of the hire period, €25 for the Dogma F10/F8 and €15 for the Dogma 65.1, Gan, Gan S, Razha and Treviso. Unfortunately we are not able to insure you against the loss or theft of the bike. Please check your holiday insurance for coverage.

  • Postponing your trip?

Absolutely no problem at all. Here at Pinarello Experience we understand that plans change and your dates may have to be amended.

Your full hire fee will be transferred to your news dates, regardless of the cancellation policy.

If you are unsure of your new dates we are able to hold this open for you.

  • What if I need to change or cancel my hire reservation?

Please email us at [email protected] as soon as you know. 

Should you need to change your hire dates we are able to make amendments for you, just get in touch.

Your full hire fee will be transferred to your news dates, regardless of the cancellation policy.

If you are unsure of your new dates we are able to hold this open for you for up to 12 months.

Cancellation made within 14 days of placing your booking (and more than 30 days before your hire period) - full refund

Cancellation made before 60 days prior to your first hire date  - 90% refund 

Cancellation made between 60 and 31 days prior to your hire - 75% refund 

Cancellation within 30 days of your first rental day - 50% refund

Cancellation within 14 days of your first rental day - no refund given, however we will hold your funds on your account for 12 months.
